Blithe Spirit

- With a Gala Opening Night on October 3rd ! -

$15 Regular Admission, $12 Senior Citizens on Sunday Matinees

October 3-5, 10-12, & 17-19, 2008

Ti-Ahwaga's first stage production in 1958, and presented again for TCP's 10 year anniversary season in 1968, Blithe Spirit is a TCP favorite! Writer and society man Charles Condoman has a paranotmal predicament: he's visited by the ghost of his dead wife Elvira, who is determined to wreak havoc... This disruption comes much to the dismay of Charles' current wife Ruth...she can't see the spectre and believe's her husband's gone mad. Catfights and catastrophes ensue in this clash between the living and the not-do-living. It's a hilarious farce by the master of high-class British comedy.

Nunsense

$18 Regular Admission, $15 Senior Citizens on Sunday Matinees

January 30,31, Feb. 1,6-8 & 13-15, 2009

S Originally presented by TCP in 1994 to sold-out audiences, Nunsense is a hilarious talent show staged by five survivors at the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery, the rest of the sisterhood having succumbed to botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child of God. A variety show is staged to raise funds so that the last four of the dearly departed can be buried. The score pulses with merriment and an unabashed desire to make you laugh, with songs and spontaneous comic interludes paced at a break-neck speed. Nunsense offers a cornucopia of hilarity for the whole family, proving conclusively that nun rhymes with fun!.

The Rainmaker

$15 Regular Admission, $12 Senior Citizens on Sunday Matinees

March 27-29, April 3-5 & 10-12, 2009

Last seen on TCP's stage in 1961, The Rainmaker is a wonderfully thought-provoking play that explores the reliance upon dreams vs. the acceptance of reality. A classic American romance, The Rainmaker is a refreshingly heartfelt fable about a con man, a country girl, and the way that love can overcome cynicism in even the most tired of souls. Charismatic & enchanting - a beautiful show.

Oklahoma!

$18 Regular Admission, $15 Senior Citizens on Sunday Matinees

May 29-31, June 5-7 & 12-14, 2009

A breakthrough in musical theater! Okalhoma!, staged by TCP in 1988, brought together for the first time composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist/librettist Oscar Hammerstein II, and marked a revolution in musical drama. The plot is simple, revolving mainly around the question of who will take Laurey Williams to the box social: the decent Curly McLain or the sinister Jud Fry. A truly classic American musical enjoyed by all!
